November 11, France is celebrating the Armistice!!

The armistice of 1918, signed on November 11 with 5:15 marks the end of the First World War (1914-1918) and the capitulation of Germany.
The cease-fire is effective at eleven hours, involving in the worldwide of the full peals of bells and the ringings of bugles announcing the end of a war which will have made more than 18 million died and of the million invalids or of mutilated.
The German and allied generals met in an arranged restaurant car of the Foch marshal, in the clearing of Rethondes, in a forest of Compiegne.
Later, in 1919, in Versailles, they will sign the treaty of Versailles.
