RED CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE Great vintage (Name Controlled origin)

History: Father Anselme created in 1952, with the assistance of glass craftsmen and provencial ceramists, this strange and the single shape of bottle which points out the wild and typical movement vine stock in the wine-producing area.

Characteristics:
Wrap ruby brilliant, iridescent reflections tiles which show a good maturity. The nose offers cordial and complex flavours of dry fruits, wood, truffle, venaison, spices; the whole in a perfect harmony.
In mouth, this wine surprises by the consistency of its attack and the final marked by the power of tannins.

Preferences:
This wine, always ready to drink whatever the moment when someone opens the bottle, will gain still more smoothness in the 3 or 4 years, and will be able to even keep oneself without problem beyond 10 years. To be used for 17°C. Grant marvelously with game, jugged hares or young wild boar, meats out of sauce and cheeses strong.

The place is located between Avignon and Orange, Châteauneuf-du-Pape spreads out at the foot of the remains of it’s fortress castle.
The village looks over the plain of Comtat and the 3 000 hectares of vine fields. The village is almost completely dedicated to its world famous wine “Châteaunef du Pape” which is also part of the similarly famous Côtes du Rhône.
