Where’s the trendy action for spring break 2009?

Get tuned up with the list of top spring break hottest spots! Cancun still dominates for 2009 even if economical travel is the key of this year, meaning that US beaches in Panama City, Miami and South Padre are climbing the spring break hot spots list.

Volunteering everywhere will keep growing. Europe: don’t expect crowds (which can be a good thing). Rosarito Beach will see lots of last minute demand and traffic. A party bus to Mazatlan may be a hot new trendy.

Cancun, you’re still the one. This little piece of Mexico is pure craziness during March and April. Margarita madness and a massive influx of students doing the spring thing on drop-dead gorgeous beaches and in late-opened night clubs.

Hopping the ferry to Cozume or the bus to Playa del Carmen for sandy paradises. Xel-Ha is fun for snorkeling, and Tulum is worth a visit about 90 miles south, you will find great beaches and unba ruins, but nightlife is quiet. Please be there earlier.

Passport for this perennially popular paradise in Mexico is highly recommened.

Bahamas and Jamaica

These beautiful Caribbean countries will see plenty of people in 2009. The blue, blue and crystal water, white sand of extremely accessible Nassau, Bahamas will bring boatloads of breakers to its balmy beaches.

Rent a scooter or hit the Straw Market, gambling’s on nearby Paradise Island. Wisely avail the Bahamas spring break packages are uber cheap, and you can choose a cruise.

Also remember this part of the island Montego Bay and quieter Negril to adventure but caution for your security.

Panama City, Florida
Panama City and Panama City Beach-PCB have Florida’s spring break top dog billing yet again in 2009, though South Beach Miami will once more offer some serious competition.

Acapulco
Acapulco’s not Mexico’s best beachside city and that might be Puerto Vallarta, but it’s tried, true, and ready for you.

Miami and South Beach, Florida
Welcome to prime time, South Beach and Miami Beach. Just east of Miami, South Beach is bordered by Biscayne Bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other, which is where you’ll find the beaches you may like.

South Padre Island, Texas
South Padre Island, where vacations are fully Texas style, is more popular than ever this year as an easy and easy to get to, besides, not too expensive and easygoing US beach town.

With the recent hurricane damage to South Padre, neighboring Corpus Christi will see its share of folks looking for the action, yeahh!

Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta’s a beach-meets-Mexican-mountains city that will again have a lot of what you want for 2009 very friendly people, enjoyable nightlife, beautiful beaches, great all-inclusive hotel deals to be availed.

Think of North American Ski Resorts
The current economic conditions, snow conditions are awesome and ski resorts are still on the list of cool spring break hottest spots for 2009 even though lift tickets and resort lodging can be spendy.

Europe
Exchange rates ain’t bad, and thus Europe I retains its 2008 spot on the list of spring break hot spots for 2009 are the following: Amsterdam, London and Paris will be the cities in which you’ll see the most American students, with Rome a close fourth place followed by Florence, Madrid, Berlin and Frankfurt.

Those are mostly chilly cities.

At the runners up list
We have Baja (Rosarito Beach, Cabo), DR, Puerto Rico, get some last minute driving traffic through San Diego from those who forgot to get passports and enjoy a rest of the week beaching and clubbing.

The mayor of Davao City, MAYOR Rodrigo called local officials, rescue units, police and military authorities to a meeting last Friday night to prepare an integrated emergency plan in cases of disasters as the National Capital Region is still reeling from the aftermath of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.
Duterte said disaster preparedness must be a collective responsibility.

Davao City, Bajada street

The instructions are follows:

The police and barangay leaders must be the first line of defense and urged them to at least purchase ropes and rubber tubings for rescue operation in case of flooding. The leaders should also organize their respective communities into sectors for orderly evacuation if necessary.
“You study low-lying areas and look for possible areas of evacuation. Buy ropes, use your money. Mindanao may be spared from strong winds but not from inundations.

Davao City, san pedro, claveria street

The city is aware for this and able to have the “Evacuation plan and sites must be clearly defined for the people to know where to go in times of emergencies and public officials must take the lead,” Uy said.
The meeting was also attended by the City Social Welfare Office, Navy, Coast Guard and the private sectors, particularly power and water utilities.
