Today, I have chosen to speak about “Friendship”. What is friendship anyway? We have to develop it a little bit, are okay with the idea? If yes then let’s all start.

Friendship is a form of generally considered to be closer than association, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations and friendship is a feeling of one to another person. Friendship and association are often thought of as spanning across the same continuum and are sometimes viewed as weaknesses.

The study of friendship is included in the fields of sociology, social psychology, anthropology, philosophy, and zoology. Various academic theories of friendship have been proposed, among which are social exchange theory, equity theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.

Important Values found in a Friendship, according to me and you may found some points with others I am sure.

The tendency to wish what is best of others
Sympathy and empathy
Honesty, to tell in certain circumstances it may difficult to other to talk about truth, most especially when we talk in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one’s counterpart.
Mutual understanding and compassion, here is your ability to go to each other for emotional support.
Enjoyment of each other’s company, no matter how long you have not seen each other but once you meet, it is like yesterday you left each other and getting bored is out of your own vocabulary.
Trust in one another, you’re assure that your worries are being kept and let your friend decide who’s the next person to know your troubles if needed.
Positive reciprocity, a friendship is based on equal give-and-take between the two of you (two parties)

Lastly but not the least, having the ability to be oneself, express yourself feelings and make mistakes without fear of judgement.

I got the chance in the past to meet new people first than others and when I am talking about the new person, I was often encountered with this kind of reaction. “Is she beautiful, is he handsome?”

In friendship, do you need to be handsome or beautiful in order to meet new friends?

Personally speaking, I am not sure you need those. Natural beauty in being found in the character of the person but not only in BEAUTY!

Alain Chapel Restaurant, Mionnay, France

I am a fan of prestige meals, but I can assure you that only for special occasions though.

After Paul Bocuse, Christian Tetedoie, George V in Paris, we’ve been dreaming to bring ourselves with the family to Alain Chapel one of these days.

It brought to my knowledge that Alain Chapel, a three star restaurant  is under financial crisis.

Few of the wines are under auction to recover some valued amount in order to face the situation.

I am not aware, if there is a potential buyer and entrepreneur to raise again the three star restaurant, no doubt I think nobody will let this in field vacant.

I was imagining for a long time, every day I am passing to this restaurant, why it seems close.

So, I think I got my little idea. My plan to spend a dinner there with the family is still pending as the situation still unresolved.

I discovered this exhibit last year around November 2011. About 2 exhibits a year. We had spent a nice day with different preview of natural products.

I had specially  admired the best taste of the best olives I had ever tasted in my entire life, the Oulibo Lucques. Especially their newly harvest olives prepared naturally.

I had also very well appreciated the pink wine of Bordeaux, I am a real fan of Bordeaux wines. One of my fancies.

This year, we had tasted Champagnes, suprisingly, I still have a range of prestige bottles to be tasted.

Back to the Oulibo Lucques, one of my favourites, the famous town named Bize Minervois 11120  France is only few kilometers from Narbonne. To be accurated I think this is about 15 kms only.

Stop and taste, you will tell me if you judge the best taste and a good quality products as I am indicating. Let me know and I’ll be seeing you next year.

Time runs so fast and with my hectic schedule, I let this blog pending week after week, hmmm but I think it’s about time to practice and make the keyboards work.

Well, I’ve been visiting Belgium to visit a best friend who has moved to this city. We spent the afternoon visiting the Royal Palace of Belgium with showering day.

We also enjoyed the light show during Christmas, passed by the Mannekin Pis, the famous little boy, a modern sculpture made of limestone. He is also know as the Little Julien, Le Petit Julien.

This Mannekin Pis has been replaced by the replica while the original one has been kept at the Palace of the Prince of Belgium built in 1388.

Cabourg, The Grand Hotel

Cabourg is a French town, located in the department of Calvados at the Lower area of Normandy. The town, which is a major tourist destination, is classified as “four flowers” Contest towns and villages in bloom and bloom the national grand prize.

The people from Cabourg are called the Cabourgians.

I took the picture of the Grand Hotel, Casino just on the way to the beach.

During that time, in the first week of June this current year, we had a windy day but temperature was quite good and sunny.

The particularity of the area is owning their own Casino in each town. It is vey fun for gamer people.

When I was a little girl, I couldn’t sleep with out light. My mother has convinced me to close my eyes and sleep. I usually placed my head under the pillow and imagined there were lot of stars.

In Saint Marcel, the sky is crystal clear and when it is full-moon I am facinated watching the stars through the window.

It is difficult not to romanticize the stories and the lives of these stars. Even in the literature and research, where the result of pain-staking analysis is presented, terms like life, death and birth are all of used. Is it just a product of the way we think?

Or are they the tales of remarkably similar to our own personal stories of evolution? Like violent births, turbulent growth, struggles between internal and external forces, maturity, change, legacy and eventually death.

Some are spectaculars and others not as much. All are different and yet somehow all the same.

So what would have I done if I knew all of this back then?
Probably not slept very much, not because of fear but because the beauty that I’ve “looked” with my naive eyes, for all those years, would have been a thousands times more captivating once I learned to truly see them and their own spotlights.

How time runs so fast, the last time I posted in here was last September 2010 further to my favourite Phalaenopsis Orchids. They are quite okay, lost their flowers but still developping new branches to have a renew flowers.

Well, during the 5 months past, I have been to so many diffrent places. I passed by Paris, north of France, south of France, Switzerland, and Belgium.

What particularly remained on my souvenirs were Yvoire, along the lake of Leman, Switzerland and our promotion trip to Nice and Cannes last February.

Here, we supported the youth who wish to join on the mega conference and world youth day in Madrid this coming August.

Speaking of world youth day, I had participated 2 world youth day, the one in 1995 in Manila and in 1997 in Paris with Pope Jean-Paule II.
So, my personal message to the youth of today, goodluck and acquire lots of experiences and share them with your friends and families.
