Fez, the Moroccan princess!
Far from the clamours of Marrakech, in the Parisian accents from now on, here Fès. Intouchée, noble and charming lady. First founded imperial city in Morocco, queen of arabo-Andalusian architecture, mother of all the médinas of the kingdom, Fès can remain discrete. Behind the high walls, the uniform ochre of its houses absorbs, for the glance, the thousands of small white rounds which draw the parabolic aerials… and the minarets white and emergent green.

Fez in Morocco
The unit is calm and majestic; in the gold of the evening, it is magic to hear the call with the last prayer. When one penetrates in the immense maze of old the médina of Fès, a swirl of noises, odors, colors seizes you, making well quickly steal in glares the fixed image of “historic building”. Alive, crawling, busy, Fez dazes and subjugates; to survey it, one believes to find old times: where one transports the goods to back of ass, where the economy is that of the small trades and the bodies of craftsmen…

Tour to Fez Morocco
Holy City, enthusiasm and place of pilgrimage, artistic, philosophical hearth and of exemplary religious tolerance, since its foundation, Fez opens intelligently with tourism. Very recently, the houses of host, or “riads”, multiplied in the old city. This tourist asset does not remove anything with the magic, that the vastness of the médina, the vigilance of its inhabitants and the holiness of the places can preserve.
