The first stop of our trip to Venise Italy

Meg̬ve Рhigh-Savoyard village of 5000 inhabitants Рis located at 1113 m of altitude between the Valley of Arly and the basin of Sallanches, with the foot of the chain of Aravis in the west, of the solid mass of Beaufort in the south and Mont Blanc in the east. Its tracks extend on the slopes from the Mounts from Alpine laburnum, Rochebrune and Jaillet.

The station was launched in 1921 by a young journalist sporting, Mathilde Maige Lefournier, was relayed by the baroness Noémie de Rothschild. Megève is a winter sports resort to the world reputation and the character society man which is very well equipped as well from the sporting point of view as from the hotel point of view. The great champion of the French ski of the inter-war period, Emile Went, was born to with it in 1912.
